Co-founder | Attorney | Legal Strategist
Angela is an admitted attorney with more than twenty years of experience spanning legal practice, in-house counsel, law firm leadership, business development and marketing. She began her career specialising in labour and employment law, acting for large corporates in the retail and automotive sectors, alongside sports law and dispute resolution, before moving into senior commercial and leadership roles within the legal sector.
That experience has given her a strong understanding of how businesses evaluate risk, pursue opportunities and measure value, and an ability to view legal matters through the lens of a client's broader commercial objectives. Angela co-founded Clark & Johnston Attorneys with a clear vision: rigorous legal work combined with commercial understanding, personal relationships and transparent fees.

Consulting Attorney | Conveyancer & Notary Public
Liza Bagley-Yuill is an attorney who works with Clark & Johnston Attorneys as an independent consultant. She has broad experience in legal practice and the wider legal services industry. Her practice has focused on litigation, especially civil and commercial disputes and family law, including matters in the High Court, as well as a varied conveyancing practice including transfers, bonds and development work.
Liza began her career in conveyancing and commercial law, with a particular focus on banking matters. As a director at a leading firm she ran a varied practice covering commercial work, general litigation, mediation and family law. She later practised at two further firms in Durban. There she handled a broad litigation caseload that included civil and commercial litigation, family law and consumer law as well as bond registrations and property transfers.
Liza is an admitted Conveyancer and Notary Public, so she can support clients with property transfers and notarial work as well as property related disputes. She later worked as a Business Development Consultant for court bonds at a major insurer. That role gave her a practical, commercial understanding of the security and guarantee instruments that often come up in litigation. She has an advanced diploma in insolvency litigation.
